860 Pro 2TB SATA SSD

The Samsung 860 Pro MZ-76P2T0BW is a 2.5 inch internal solid state drive with a 2TB capacity. It uses V-NAND 2-bit MLC memory and a SATA III interface. The drive is built for consumer workloads such as everyday computing, 4K video editing and 3D data handling. A MJX controller manages the flash storage.

Check SATA port and 7mm bay

Verify that your system has a free SATA III port and a 2.5 inch drive bay that accepts a 7.00mm height drive. The package includes only the SSD and a user manual; cables, screws and brackets are not supplied. Confirm your operating system supports TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring. The drive works with Windows, macOS and Linux.

Low power and silent operation

With no moving parts the drive runs silently in normal use. Average active power draw is 2.2W with a maximum burst of 4.5W. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C. MTBF is rated at 1,500,000 hours and endurance reaches 2,400 TBW. AES 256-bit hardware encryption is supported via TCG Opal and IEEE 1667.
