It uses conventional magnetic recording and a 7200 RPM spindle to deliver consistent throughput for multi-user workloads. The 3.5 inch form factor fits standard drive bays in rackmount or tower enclosures.

SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface ceiling

The drive connects over a SATA 6.0 Gb/s link, so sustained transfer rates cannot exceed that bus limit.
