This 2U rackmount chassis fits a standard 19-inch cabinet and is built from 1.0 mm SGCC zinc-coated steel. Thermals noise and power

Three 8025 AVC ball-bearing fans ship as standard, with mounting positions for a fourth 8 cm unit to increase airflow if needed. The backplane includes a temperature-control chipset to help manage drive thermals under sustained load. Power options cover a single 2U PSU or a redundant supply, so operators can choose the resilience level their deployment demands.

Drive interface and backplane

Eight 3.5-inch bays connect through a 6 Gb/s SATA or 6 Gb/s mini-SAS backplane, with a 12 Gb/s mini-SAS variant also available for higher throughput. Each bay supports SATA II or III and SAS II or III drives, enabling mixed spindle and SSD populations. An optional slim optical bay can alternatively house a 2.5-inch SSD or HDD for boot or cache duties.
