Kit Composition
This kit contains two 8 GB DDR4 UDIMM modules for a total of 16 GB. It is built for desktop systems that accept 288-pin unbuffered memory running at 1.20 V. The green circuit boards carry no LEDs.
What the Pair Changes
Populating two slots in matched capacity lets the memory controller run in dual-channel mode, doubling the data path compared with a single module. The CL15 timing at 2133 MHz is the only speed grade supplied; no XMP profiles or higher frequencies are included.
DDR4 Bus Limits
The DDR4 interface tops out at the PC4-17000 data rate, so bandwidth cannot exceed what the 2133 MT/s clock provides. Systems that require ECC, registered modules or voltages other than 1.20 V will not work with this kit.
