8-Port 5V ARGB RGBW Hub

This SMUGDESK hub expands a single motherboard 5V header to eight channels for addressable LED strips and fans. The magnetic base attaches to any steel surface inside the case without screws or tape. A wireless remote controls modes, colours, brightness and speed without software. PWM signal output keeps effects flicker-free for smooth lighting.

Upgrade from limited headers

Builders whose board offers only one or two 5V ARGB connectors can run up to eight devices from a single header. The jump is worth it when you want synchronised strips and fans across the whole chassis without daisy-chain limits. It does not support 12V RGB gear, so owners of older four-pin RGB hardware cannot use this hub.

Check header voltage and power budget

Verify your motherboard provides a 5V 3-pin ARGB header; connecting to 12V RGB will damage the lighting hardware. Add up the draw of all attached strips and fans to stay within the header’s current limit. Ensure the magnetic mounting spot is clear of sharp edges or moving cables.
