It is built for desktop and workstation users who want to add both highspeed and legacy solidstate storage without occupying multiple expansion slots. The card works in PCIe X4, X8 and X16 connectors and includes a SATA power cable for reliable dualdrive operation. No extra driver is required for installation.

Replaces two singleport risers

Instead of using separate adapters for NVMe and SATA M.2 drives, this board hosts both key types simultaneously. The upgrade is worthwhile when a system has limited PCIe lanes or physical slots but needs mixedprotocol storage for boot, cache and bulk data.
