The Solidigm D5-P5316 is a 30.72TB enterprise solid-state drive built in the E1.L 9.5mm form factor. It uses 144L QLC 3D NAND and a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface for high-density storage in server and data-centre environments.

Sustained write behaviour

Sequential write speeds reach up to 3600 MBps while random write throughput is rated at 510 MB/s using 64K blocks. Endurance is specified at 22.93PBW for 64K random workloads and 104.55PBW for 64K sequential workloads, with an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours.

Platform and power checks

Verify that your chassis supports the E1.L 9.5mm form factor and provides a PCIe 4.0 x4 connection. The drive draws up to 25W active and 5W idle, operating between 0°C and 70°C with shock tolerance of 1000G and vibration ratings of 2.17 GRMS operating and 3.13 GRMS non-operating.
