1U Edge Server Barebone

The Supermicro SYS-110P-FDWTR is a 1U rackmount barebone built for edge workloads. It accepts a single Intel Xeon processor in an LGA 4189 socket and supports up to 2TB of DDR4 3200 ECC memory across eight slots. Dual 10GbE Base-T ports and a 600W redundant power supply suit telecom and multi-access edge computing deployments.

Replaces Larger Fixed-Config Servers

This chassis replaces deeper fixed-configuration servers when space and power redundancy are priorities. The jump is worth it when a deployment needs three PCIe 4.0 x16 slots — one low-profile and two full-height — for accelerators or NICs, plus an M.2 slot that accepts either NVMe or SATA drives in 2280 or 22110 lengths.

Limited By PCIe 4.0 and DDR4 Ceilings

Expansion bandwidth tops out at PCIe 4.0 x16 per slot, so newer PCIe 5.0 cards will operate at the lower generation speed. Memory capacity stops at 2TB using DDR4 3200 modules, and the platform does not support later DDR generations. Only two SATA 600 ports are provided for traditional drives.
