It ships with 768 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory across 24 DIMM slots. The platform targets virtualization, HPC and cloud workloads that need high core counts in minimal rack space.

Four 3.5-inch bays limit raw capacity

Only four hot-plug 3.5-inch SATA or SAS drive bays are provided, so total storage capacity is constrained by the number of large-form-factor drives you can install. The LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with 1 GB cache and battery backup. No drives are included, and the front bezel and rack rails are not supplied.

768 GB installed memory decides fit

The system arrives with 768 GB of DDR4 ECC memory, which is half the 1.5 TB maximum the board can address.
