It ships fully assembled and tested with four drive bays populated by 8 TB Synology Plus drives for 32 TB of raw capacity. A Ryzen V1500B four-core processor and 32 GB of DDR4 ECC memory provide the compute headroom for file services, virtualization and backup workloads.

The unit operates from a 100–240 VAC supply and is rated for ambient temperatures from 0 °C to 35 °C with humidity up to 95 % RH. Its 1U chassis uses internal airflow paths sized for the installed drives and processor, keeping fan noise at levels typical for rackmount equipment in a server room.
