A quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor at 2.2 GHz drives sequential reads over 2000 MB/s and writes over 1300 MB/s. It arrives fully assembled with 16 GB DDR4 RAM and four 20 TB Synology Plus drives for 80 TB raw capacity.

Operating range and redundant power

The unit operates from 0 °C to 35 °C at 5 % to 95 % relative humidity. Dual redundant power supplies accept 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz for continuous uptime. Four integrated 1 GbE RJ-45 ports support link aggregation and automatic failover, while the installed two-port 10GBASE-T adapter adds high-speed connectivity.

Four hot-swap bays with expansion path

Four hot-swappable bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. A single RX426 expansion unit can be attached to double the bay count to eight and raise raw capacity to 192 TB with supported 24 TB drives. One PCIe Gen3 slot remains open for an additional network adapter or M.2 SSD adapter. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports provide direct peripheral attachment.
