The Synology SA3410 is a diskless 2U rackmount NAS built around an Intel Xeon D-1541 eight-core processor running at 2.1 GHz base and 2.7 GHz turbo. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 ECC RDIMM memory, expandable to 128 GB. Twelve drive bays accept 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA or SAS drives, while two PCIe Gen3 x8 slots allow additional expansion cards.
