Which M.2 lengths fit inside the 42 millimeter slot?

The enclosure accepts 2230 and 2242 M.2 NVMe SSDs. It does not fit 2260 or 2280 drives.

How is the SSD secured during installation?

Insert the M Key or B&M Key NVMe SSD into the internal slot and fasten the supplied screw. A common mistake is leaving the screw loose, which can cause connection issues.

When will the thermal pad need replacement?

Replace the pad if it becomes compressed, torn, or loses tackiness after repeated drive swaps. A fresh pad restores proper contact between the SSD and the aluminum housing.
