The Vszerda iHyper M2 X16 plugs into a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and presents four M.2 2280 NVMe drives to the system. It is built for desktop or 2U server chassis that can split the x16 lane into four x4 links. Without motherboard bifurcation support only one drive will be detected.

Bifurcation requirement limits compatibility

The card operates at PCIe 4.0 x16 speeds with backward compatibility to PCIe 3.0. Full four-drive bandwidth of 32 Gbps is available only when the motherboard firmware splits the x16 link into four x4 lanes.
