MiSTer IO Analog Board V6.1

This kit combines the Mister FPGA IO Analog Board V6.1 with a USB Hub V2.1 and a cooling fan. It is designed for owners of the Terasic DE10-Nano who want to expand their MiSTer FPGA platform with additional connectivity and thermal management. The components plug directly onto the DE10-Nano SoC board without extra wiring.

Upgrades from basic DE10-Nano

The IO board adds a VGA connector, a 3.5 mm audio jack with TOSLink, three buttons, three status LEDs, a secondary SD card slot, and a case integration connector. The USB Hub board provides extra ports that fit under the existing chassis and connects via an upstream micro-USB port. The jump is worth it when you need analog video output, digital audio, or more USB devices without external hubs.

Limits of the expansion interface

The expansion connector uses a USB 3.0 form factor but does not carry USB signals. The USB Hub is based on an FE 2.1 chip and requires a 5 V DC connection. The secondary SD card slot is only usable by certain cores. Appearance and colour may vary between batches without affecting function.
