Compact 1U server power supply
The Athena Power AP-U1ATX30A is a 300W single-unit PSU built for 1U rackmount chassis. It fits space-constrained industrial servers that need standard ATX power delivery in a shallow 1.55-inch height. The unit includes a 20+4-pin main connector, one 4-pin CPU connector, three Molex, two SATA and one floppy connector. It is not suited for builds that require PCIe power cables or redundant hot-swap capability.
Dual 40mm fans with auto speed control
Two ball-bearing fans spin under a smart thermal controller that adjusts speed to load and temperature. At full 300W output and 25°C ambient the design targets 100,000 hours MTBF. Input accepts 88–264 V at 47–63 Hz with active PFC meeting EN61000-3-2. Hold-up time is at least 17 ms at nominal voltage. Protections cover over-voltage, short-circuit and overload conditions.
Replaces older 1U units lacking active PFC
The jump is worthwhile when a legacy supply cannot deliver stable +12V current up to 15A or lacks SATA power for current drives. It also upgrades systems that need the 20+4-pin ATX v2.2 header instead of a 20-pin-only design. Builds requiring 6-pin, 8-pin or 6+2-pin PCIe cables must look elsewhere.
