Dual-Protocol M.2 Adapter

The Corn Electronics JEYI SK6 adapter accepts both M-key NVMe and B-key SATA M.2 drives in lengths from 2230 to 110 mm. It connects the NVMe drive through a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot and the SATA drive through a motherboard SATA port. No driver installation is required for either mode.

Passive Thermal Design

The card uses tantalum capacitors to protect the attached SSD during power transitions. Because it has no active cooling, thermals and noise depend entirely on the host system airflow and the drive’s own controller. Power draw is limited to what the PCIe slot and SATA connector can supply.

Sustained Transfer Behaviour

Under continuous load the adapter maintains the PCIe 3.0 x4 electrical link, so throughput stays at the drive’s rated limit rather than throttling after a short burst. The twin-slot layout lets both an NVMe and a SATA drive operate simultaneously without sharing bandwidth.
