The BRACKET25SAT lets you install a 2.5in SATA hard drive or SSD into a standard 3.5in drive bay. It is built for desktop users who want to add faster solid-state storage without replacing their case. The steel bracket fits drives such as the Samsung 840 EVO or Crucial MX 100 series. No tool-less mechanism is included; screws are supplied.

Included 22-pin SATA-to-LP4 Adapter Cable

The kit ships with a combined 22-pin SATA data and power cable that splits to a 7-pin SATA connector and a 4-pin LP4 Molex plug. This single cable carries both signals, so you do not need separate data and power leads. An optional IDE4044 adapter can extend support to 2.5in IDE drives if required.

Steel Bracket with Standard Bay Alignment

The bracket uses solid steel construction measuring .4in high by 3.9in wide by 3.9in long and weighs 3.88 oz. Mounting holes align with common 3.5in bay spacing, allowing a secure fit in most desktop chassis. The supplied screw kit fastens both the drive to the bracket and the bracket to the case.
