10 Gbps PCIe 3.0 x4 Network Adapter

The TP-Link TX401 adds a single 10 Gigabit Ethernet port to a desktop PC through a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot. It targets users who need faster wired throughput for large file transfers, NAS access or multi-gigabit internet plans. The card includes both standard and low-profile brackets plus a 1.5 m CAT6A cable.

PCIe 3.0 x4 Interface Determines Compatibility

The adapter requires an open PCIe 3.0 x4 slot (or larger) on the motherboard. Bandwidth scales down automatically to 5 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps or 100 Mbps when connected to slower switches or cables. Without a compatible slot the card cannot be installed.

Straightforward Install With Two Bracket Options

Both full-height and low-profile brackets are supplied so the card fits standard towers and small form-factor cases. Driver media is provided on a resource CD for Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Server 2019, 2016, 2012 R2 and Linux; systems without an optical drive will need to download drivers from the manufacturer site.
