This 30 metre multimode fibre patch cable uses OM3 10-gigabit core glass terminated with LC and ST ceramic ferrules. It is built for installers connecting switches, servers or patch panels in data-centre or enterprise racks where 850 nm transmission is required. The aqua jacket identifies the OM3 rating at a glance.

Capacity and headroom for 10G links

The cable supports 1, 10 and 40 gigabit Ethernet over multimode distances with typical insertion loss of .2 dB and maximum of .3 dB.
