This 30 metre multimode fibre patch cable uses OM3 10-gigabit core glass terminated with LC and ST ceramic ferrules. It is built for installers connecting switches, servers or patch panels in data-centre or enterprise racks where 850 nm transmission is required. The aqua jacket identifies the OM3 rating at a glance.

Capacity and headroom for 10G links

The cable supports 1, 10 and 40 gigabit Ethernet over multimode distances with typical insertion loss of .2 dB and maximum of .3 dB. Return loss exceeds 38 dB, preserving signal integrity on short-reach uplinks. It is not suited for single-mode runs or wavelengths beyond 850 nm where a different core would be needed.

Build integration with 3.0 mm jacket

The 3.0 mm PVC jacket meets a 330 mm minimum bend radius and survives 1000 mating cycles across an operating range of -20 °C to +60 °C. Duplex LC-ST ends plug directly into mixed transceivers without adapters, freeing rack space otherwise used by hybrid couplers.
