Lead-acid battery charger

The Mean Well PB-360N-12 is a single-output power supply designed to charge lead-acid batteries using a three-stage charging profile. It delivers 14.7V at up to 24.3A for use in backup power, industrial equipment or off-grid installations. The unit operates from AC mains selected by a 115/230VAC switch.

Input voltage selection and PFC

The charger accepts either 115VAC or 230VAC input set by a manual switch, so the installer must match the local mains voltage before connection. An optional built-in passive PFC function complies with EN61000-3-2 Class A for harmonic current limits. No active power factor correction is included.

Protection features and cooling

Built-in protections cover short circuit, reverse polarity, over voltage and over temperature conditions. A two-colour LED indicator shows the charging status at a glance. The fan runs only when charging current demands it, reducing noise during low-load periods. The AT form factor suits standard industrial mounting.
