OWC
Eight 16 GB DDR3L 1600 ECC registered DIMMs totalling 128 GB for Cisco UCS C200 M2 and C210 M2 servers
Capacity 128GB (8 x 16GB)
This OWC kit supplies 128GB of DDR3L ECC registered memory across eight 16GB modules. It is built for Cisco UCS C200 M2 and C210 M2 servers that require 240-pin RDIMMs. Workstations or desktops using unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs cannot use this memory.
Each module runs at 1.35V, the standard DDR3L voltage, which reduces power draw compared with 1.5V DDR3. The modules have no heat spreaders, so airflow through the server chassis handles cooling. Registered buffering adds a clock cycle but stabilises the memory bus under heavy loads.
The kit replaces Cisco part numbers UCSMR1X162RYA, UCSMR1X162RYARF and UCSMR2X162RYE. It is validated for the listed Cisco UCS models only and will not work in systems requiring unbuffered or LRDIMM modules. OWC provides a limited lifetime warranty with free technical support.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
Power down the server, open the chassis, and seat each 16GB module in the correct DIMM slots per the Cisco memory population guide; the step often missed is enabling the ECC Registered memory in BIOS after installation so the system recognises the 128GB kit.
The modules have no heat spreaders and are solid-state, so no routine maintenance is required; replacement is only needed if a DIMM fails, which is covered by OWC's limited lifetime warranty and advanced replacement programme.
The primary limit is the DDR3L 1600 (PC3L-12800) bandwidth and CL11 latency ceiling; the registered buffer adds a small command-cycle overhead, so sustained throughput tops out at the rated 1600 MT/s before any thermal throttling occurs.
