This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB DDR3L registered DIMMs built for Dell PowerEdge M610, M610X, M710 and M710HD blade servers. It is designed for workstation and server platforms that require ECC registered memory and will not work in standard desktop computers or alongside unbuffered modules.
Running at 1.35 V and DDR3L 1600 (PC3L-12800) with CL11 latency, the modules draw less power than standard DDR3 while meeting JEDEC specifications. The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller, helping maintain signal integrity in dense blade chassis without adding a heat spreader.
Each module uses the 240-pin RDIMM form factor required by the target PowerEdge blades, freeing DIMM slots for further expansion within the system's supported population rules. The kit replaces Dell part numbers A7134886, A7545680, RKR5J and SNPRKR5JC/8G, letting administrators extend the service life of existing M610 and M710 platforms.
