This OWC kit supplies 16 GB of DDR3L 1600 ECC Registered memory as two 8 GB RDIMMs. The modules run at 1.35 V with CL11 latency and a 2Rx4 organisation. They are qualified for Cisco UCS B260 M4 E7 v2 and v3 plus B460 M4 E7 v2 and v3 blade servers.
The RDIMMs are designed for workstation and server platforms that require registered ECC memory. They will not work in standard desktop computers and must not be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs. Buyers without a compatible Cisco UCS blade should look elsewhere.
Each stick uses the 240-pin DDR3L RDIMM form factor at 1600 MT/s. The registered buffer and ECC logic are mandatory for the target Cisco UCS B260 M4 and B460 M4 systems. If the server calls for a different pin count, voltage or buffer type, this kit will not install.
