The Vantec UGT-M2PC110 is a new PCI Express to M.2 add-on card that lets you install an extra-long 110 mm NVMe or AHCI SSD into a standard PCIe x4, x8 or x16 slot. It accepts M-key modules from 42 mm up to 110 mm in length and operates at PCIe 3.0 or 2.0 x4 speeds.
Suits anyone whose motherboard lacks an on-board M.2 slot long enough for a 22x110 mm drive, or who wants to add a second high-speed NVMe device. Not for systems without a free PCIe x4 or larger slot, or for drives that use an M+B key interface.
The card accepts M.2 modules with an M key exclusively; M+B key drives will not fit. It supports lengths of 22x110, 22x80, 22x60 and 22x42 mm and draws power from the PCIe 3.3 V rail. A low-profile bracket is included for slim chassis.
