It is built for installers who need to place displays far from the source in classrooms, lobbies or server rooms. No drivers or software are required, so deployment is a simple hardware connection.

Included Mounting Brackets And Power Adapter

The box supplies a 9 V DC power adapter and metal brackets for surface mounting the aluminum enclosure. These items let technicians secure the receiver near the display and power it from a local mains outlet without sourcing extra parts. The unit draws 0.6 A from the supplied adapter.

Resolution Drops As Cable Length Increases

At 50 m the extender supports 1600x1200, at 100 m it supports 1280x1024, and at the full 150 m it supports 1024x768. Buyers who need higher resolutions at the maximum distance cannot meet that requirement with this standard. Daisy-chaining and audio transmission are also not supported.
