Smart-UPS C 1440 VA Tower

The APC SMC1500C is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply rated at 1440 VA and 900 W for 120 V environments. It provides sine-wave output, automatic voltage regulation and 680 joules of surge protection for connected equipment. Eight NEMA 5-15R outlets supply battery backup and surge protection with one switchable outlet group. A graphic LCD, USB port, serial interface and SmartConnect cloud monitoring are included.

Suited for small business servers

This unit fits small and medium businesses that need rack-ready tower backup for servers, switches and routers with remote cloud visibility. It is not suited for loads exceeding 900 W or for sites that require input voltages outside the 85–136 V adjustable range. Environments needing longer runtime at full load or non-lead-acid battery chemistry should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification: 900 W output capacity

The 900 watt rating determines whether your connected load can be supported during an outage. At full load the battery provides 7.8 minutes of runtime, extending to 20.4 minutes at half load.
