3000 VA 2U rackmount UPS

The APC SMT3000RM2UC is a line-interactive battery backup rated at 3000 VA and 2700 W. It occupies 2U of rack space and operates from a 120 V supply with a NEMA L5-30P input plug. Eight outlets are provided: six NEMA 5-15R and two NEMA 5-20R receptacles. An LCD screen shows operating mode, load, runtime and battery capacity.

Suits 120 V rack environments.

This unit fits server rooms and network closets that run on 120 V power and need rackmount protection for servers, switches, routers or point-of-sale gear. It is not for sites that require a different input voltage. The 3-minute runtime at full load means it will not sustain extended outages without additional battery packs. Buyers needing longer autonomy should look at models that support external battery modules.
