Full-tower case for high-end builds

The ASUS ROG GR701 is a full-tower chassis designed for enthusiasts who need maximum expansion room. It accepts EATX boards up to 12 by 10.9 inches alongside ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX. An aluminum alloy X-shaped frame provides structural rigidity while tempered glass panels on both sides showcase the interior. Four 140 mm PWM fans come pre-installed for immediate airflow.

Storage capacity and cooling headroom

Seven drive bays are available: five dedicated 2.5-inch slots plus two combo bays that accept 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives. Front and top mounts each support radiators up to 420 mm, while the rear takes 120 mm or 140 mm units. A CPU cooler up to 190 mm tall fits under the side panel, and graphics cards up to 460 mm long clear the front. The power-supply tunnel accommodates units up to 240 mm deep.

Interface and layout limits

The front panel provides one headphone/microphone jack, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, plus a dedicated lighting control button. A reset button offers either USB 4.0 Type-C or USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C connectivity. Nine standard expansion slots are supplemented by three vertical slots for alternative GPU mounting. Cable routing space behind the motherboard tray measures 34 mm. Removable dust filters cover front, top and bottom intakes.
