The Dell PowerEdge R530 fits into a standard 2U rack space and provides eight hot-plug 3.5-inch drive bays. A single Xeon E5-2650 v3 processor delivers ten cores at 2.3GHz with twenty virtual threads. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 memory are installed across twelve DIMM slots.

Redundant 750W power supplies manage thermals

Two hot-swap 750W units share the load so that a single failure does not shut the system down. The chassis airflow design moves heat from the processor and the Perc H730 RAID controller through the front-to-rear path. Fan speeds adjust automatically to keep component temperatures within specification during typical workloads.

iDRAC8 and rail kit simplify deployment
