It ships with two 1 TB 7.2K SATA drives managed by a PERC H330 RAID controller supporting levels 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. This configuration suits workloads that need moderate core count and internal redundancy in minimal rack space.

Dual 750 W Supplies and Hot-Swap Cooling

Redundant 750 W power supplies share the load and allow one unit to fail without downtime. The 1U form factor uses high-speed internal fans to move air front-to-back across the CPU, memory and drive bays. Under typical utilisation the power draw stays within the capacity of a single supply, keeping the second in reserve. Fan noise is noticeable in quiet rooms but normal for a dense rack server.

Eight 2.5-Inch Bays and Three PCIe 3.0 Slots

The chassis accepts up to eight hot-plug 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drives, leaving six bays free for future expansion. Three PCIe 3.0 slots plus a dedicated PERC slot support additional network or storage adapters. A daughter card provides four 1 GbE ports with optional 10 GbE upgrades. iDRAC8 Express enables remote management out of the box. No operating system is included.
