16-core Xeon Gold 6130 at 2.1GHz

Each of the two installed CPUs provides 16 cores running at 2.1GHz with a 3.7GHz turbo frequency, delivering 32 total cores for heavily threaded applications. The LGA 3647 socket and C620 chipset limit upgrades to a second processor of the same generation, so the configuration is fixed at 32 cores.

Redundant 750W platinum supplies

Dual hot-swap 750 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies share the load and maintain operation if one unit fails. The 1U chassis uses high-speed internal fans to cool the CPUs, memory, eight 1.2TB SAS drives and the H730P controller, producing noticeable airflow noise typical of dense rack servers.
