Forty-eight gigabytes of DDR4 memory are installed across the 24 DIMM slots. The system targets organisations that need dense SAS or SATA storage in a standard rack footprint.

Storage controller and drives included

A Dell PERC H330 12Gbps RAID controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60 across three factory-fitted 1.2TB 7.2K SAS drives. The controller occupies a dedicated slot, leaving up to six PCIe 3.0 slots free for additional I/O cards. Redundant 750W hot-swap power supplies and a DVD-ROM drive complete the hardware bundle.

Verify rack depth and CPU upgrade path

Confirm your rack can accommodate the 26.8-inch depth and 60-pound weight before ordering. Only one processor is installed; the second socket is vacant for a matching E5-2650 v3 if more cores are required.
