The Dell Precision T7910 is a tower workstation built around a single Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processor with 14 cores at 2 GHz and hyperthreading for 28 virtual cores. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and a 500 GB SATA SSD. The Nvidia NVS 310 provides 512 MB of video memory and dual DisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor setups. No operating system is included, so the buyer supplies their own licence.

1300 W power supply with 90 % efficiency

A 1300 W unit rated at 90 % efficiency delivers stable power to the CPU, graphics card and up to eight drive bays. The high-efficiency design reduces waste heat, helping the system run cooler under sustained loads. Active power factor correction smooths the draw from the mains. The large chassis allows ample airflow for the components installed.

Flexible storage bays and integrated SAS controller

The chassis supports up to four M.2 PCIe SSDs and either four 3.5-inch or eight 2.5-inch SATA or SAS drives. An integrated LSI SAS 3008 controller handles 12 Gb/s SAS and 6 Gb/s SATA with software RAID 0, 1 and 10 across eight drives. Two additional Intel SATA ports serve optical drives. A DVD-RW drive is fitted as standard.
