Z790 platform for Intel Core 12th to 14th Gen
This ATX motherboard uses the Intel Z790 chipset and LGA 1700 socket to support 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core, Celeron and Pentium Gold processors. Four 288‑pin DDR5 slots run dual‑channel memory up to 192 GB with Intel XMP 3.0 profiles. A 12+1+1 phase digital VRM delivers stable power for high‑core‑count CPUs.
Enlarged MOSFET heatsinks and M.2 Thermal Guard
Advanced thermal design uses enlarged MOSFET heatsinks and an M.2 Thermal Guard to keep VRM and SSD temperatures in check during sustained loads. Smart Fan 6 reads multiple onboard sensors and controls hybrid fan headers with a fan‑stop function, reducing noise when the system is idle or lightly loaded.
EZ‑Latch quick‑release and Q‑Flash Plus
The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot features an EZ‑Latch quick‑release mechanism for tool‑free graphics card swaps. Q‑Flash Plus lets you update the BIOS using a USB drive without installing a CPU, memory or graphics card, simplifying recovery and new‑processor preparation.
