The Goldshell CK5 is an application-specific integrated circuit built for mining the Nervos CKB blockchain. It delivers a nominal hashrate of 12 TH/s with a tolerance of ±5 percent and draws approximately 2400 W from the wall at the same variance. The unit weighs 8.5 kg and measures 264 mm by 200 mm by 290 mm. It is intended for operators who run dedicated mining infrastructure.
The only data connection is a wired Ethernet port, so the miner must be cabled to a router or switch with a stable internet link. Power is accepted across a 176 V to 264 V range, allowing use on common single-phase supplies in many regions without an external transformer. No wireless, USB or additional control interfaces are provided.
At roughly 80 dB the fan noise is comparable to a loud vacuum cleaner, making the device unsuitable for living spaces or shared offices. The specified operating temperature range tops out at 35 °C, so inlet air must stay below that level; sustained higher ambient temperatures will cause thermal throttling or shutdown. Adequate airflow and cooling capacity are therefore mandatory.
