1U Rack Server for Dense Compute

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 packs a six-core Xeon E5-2620 v3 at 2.4GHz and 32GB of DDR4 into a 1U chassis. Eight SFF bays and dual 500W redundant power supplies support space-constrained workloads. It ships with no operating system installed.

SAS H240ar Controller Limits

The Smart HBA H240ar handles 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the eight 2.5-inch bays. Maximum installed memory is 32GB despite 24 DIMM slots, and the single processor caps cores at six. A second CPU would be required to reach higher core counts.

Upgrade from Tower or Older 2U Systems
