HP ProLiant DL380 G9 2U Server

The HP ProLiant DL380 G9 is a 2U rack server built for data-center workloads that need dense compute and redundant power. It ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2643v3 six-core processor running at 3.4GHz and 4GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. The platform supports a second processor and up to 24 DIMM slots for large memory expansion.

4GB DDR4 memory and eight 146GB 15K SAS drives

Installed memory is 4GB across 24 slots, leaving extensive headroom for growth to the platform maximum. Eight 146GB 15K 6Gbps 2.5-inch SAS drives provide high-speed spindle storage in the front bays. The Smart HBA H240ar controller manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across SAS and SATA devices.

Redundant 500W supplies and H240ar RAID controller

Two hot-swap 500W power supplies deliver N+1 redundancy for continuous operation. The H240ar controller adds 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA connectivity with hardware RAID offload. No operating system is included, so the buyer provides their own hypervisor or OS licence. Buyers needing NVMe boot devices or GPU compute must add those separately.
