The HPE MSA 2070 is a 2U rack-mountable SAN storage system designed for organisations that need consolidated block storage with dual-controller redundancy. It supports up to 24 drives, accepting both 2.5-inch HDDs and SSDs, and ships with zero drives installed so you can populate it to match capacity and performance targets.

Dual 12Gb/s SAS controllers with four external ports

Two 12Gb/s SAS controllers provide active-active failover and four external SAS ports for host connectivity. The chassis includes two redundant 580 W power supplies with C14 connectors. Installation is straightforward in a standard rack, but you must source and install all drives and configure RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 or 10 before the array can serve data.

Sustained throughput with clustering and remote

Under continuous workloads the dual-controller design balances I/O across both nodes, and clustering support lets you scale out by adding a second system. Management runs over Gigabit Ethernet using SNMP, SSH, HTTPS, SFTP and other standard protocols, giving administrators scriptable control during extended operations without relying on a single point of failure.
