This LORDWORLD HAT adds dual stepper-motor control to Raspberry Pi 4B, 3B+, 3B, 2B+, Zero W, WH and Jetson Nano boards through the standard 40PIN GPIO header. It targets makers and engineers who need precise motion for CNC, robotics or automation projects without designing a custom driver PCB.

Microstepping limited by DRV8825 indexer

The onboard dual DRV8825 ICs provide six microstepping resolutions from full-step to 1/32-step, set by physical DIP switches on the board. The driver’s built-in indexer caps the finest division at 1/32, so applications demanding higher resolution must use a different driver architecture.

Adjustable current and compact HAT mounting

Motor current is tuned per channel via onboard potentiometers up to 2.5A peak, allowing matching to specific stepper ratings without external sense resistors. The 40PIN stack-through header keeps the board aligned with the host SBC, leaving other GPIO pins accessible for sensors or additional hats.
