The MSI B360M WIND is a Micro ATX board for Intel LGA 1151 processors. It supports 8th generation Core CPUs together with Pentium Gold and Celeron models. Dual-channel DDR4 memory up to 32 GB can be installed. The board fits compact builds that need a standard Intel platform.

Intel B360 Chipset Limits

The B360 chipset provides one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for expansion cards. Storage connects through a single M.2 interface and six SATA III ports. Networking uses an RTL8111H Gigabit LAN controller. Audio is handled by a Realtek ALC887 codec with 7.1 channel output.

Build and Daily Connectivity

The board measures 23.6 by 20.0 cm and uses a Micro ATX mounting pattern. Rear I/O supplies four USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports and two USB 2.0 ports.
