This 1.1TB kit contains twelve 96GB DDR5-4800 registered ECC modules built for the Supermicro H14DSG-O-CPU motherboard. Each 288-pin RDIMM runs at 1.10V with CL40 latency and a 2Rx4 organisation. The registered design lets every slot stay populated while the memory controller stays stable.
DDR5-4800 sets the peak transfer rate at PC5-38400, and the registered buffer adds one cycle of latency versus unbuffered modules. ECC corrects single-bit errors on the fly but cannot fix multi-bit failures. The 288-pin RDIMM form factor fits only boards wired for registered DDR5; it will not seat in UDIMM or SODIMM slots.
Fully populating all twelve slots delivers 1.1TB of addressable memory for large databases, virtualisation hosts or HPC jobs that exceed smaller configurations. Workloads needing more capacity than 1.1TB or speeds above DDR5-4800 will require a different platform or memory generation.
