Power off the terminal and disconnect the power cord. Open the memory compartment, align the notch on the module with the slot key, insert at an angle, then press down firmly until both side clips click into place. The step often missed is verifying both clips have fully engaged.
No routine maintenance is required for this non-ECC unbuffered SODIMM. If a memory error appears later, the module would need replacement; otherwise it runs for the life of the terminal.
The CAS latency of CL15 at 2133MHz sets the access timing ceiling. Under sustained workloads the memory controller reaches this latency bound before bandwidth or voltage limits become a factor.
