This 256GB kit contains two 128GB DDR5-6400 Registered ECC RDIMMs built to the Supermicro X14SDW-36C-SP9F memory controller specification. The modules run at 1.10V with CL52 latency and a 4Rx4 rank structure so the board recognises the full capacity at rated speed.
Registered architecture buffers every address and command line, letting all slots stay fully populated without signal degradation during continuous workloads. On-die ECC corrects single-bit errors in real time, preventing silent data corruption and unplanned reboots on production systems.
The kit upgrades a partially filled board or slower DDR5 modules to the maximum validated 256GB at DDR5-6400. The jump is worth it when the workload demands full registered capacity and ECC integrity at the board's highest supported data rate.
