This 256GB kit contains four 64GB DDR5-6400 registered ECC modules built for the Supermicro X14SDV-32C-SP3F motherboard. Each DIMM runs at 1.1V with CL52 latency and a 4Rx4 organisation. The registered design lets the board run fully populated without overloading the memory controller.
The single specification that decides fitment is the 4Rx4 registered ECC profile at DDR5-6400 (PC5-51200). Your motherboard must accept 288-pin RDIMMs with exactly that rank, voltage and timing; a UDIMM, SODIMM or different rank count will not be recognised. Verify the manual’s approved population table before ordering.
Align the notch on each 288-pin module with the slot key, press straight down until both latches click, and repeat for all four slots in the order the manual specifies. The most common issue is mixing ranks or skipping a required slot sequence, which leaves capacity unrecognised or forces the system to run at a lower speed.
