Server Memory Kit

This 512GB kit contains four 128GB DDR5 4800 RDIMM modules built for Supermicro servers. ECC and registered operation provide the error correction and signal integrity required by mission-critical workloads. The kit is validated for the SYS-121H-TNR, SYS-221H-TNR and SYS-221H-TN24R platforms.

DDR5 4800 Interface Limits

DDR5 4800 sets the maximum transfer rate at PC5-38400 with a CL40 latency at 1.10V. Registered DIMMs add a clock cycle for buffering, so the memory controller must support registered ECC operation. Systems limited to lower speeds or unbuffered DIMMs cannot use this kit.

4Rx4 Rank Configuration

Each 128GB module uses a 4Rx4 organisation that increases density but places higher electrical load on the memory bus. The server motherboard must explicitly support 4Rx4 registered DIMMs at this capacity. Boards qualified only for 1Rx4 or 2Rx4 ranks will not recognise the full 512GB.
