Rose Gold M.2 NVMe and SATA enclosure

The Orico enclosure holds one M.2 SSD in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 sizes. It accepts both PCIe NVMe and SATA protocols through a USB Type-C 10Gbps link. An aluminum shell with a cooling vest and thermal pad manages drive temperature.

For portable NVMe storage or SATA migration

Suits users who move a single NVMe drive between USB-C laptops, phones, tablets or consoles using the supplied C-to-A and C-to-C cables. SATA M.2 drives work but are limited to the protocol's 6Gbps ceiling. Buyers needing multi-drive RAID arrays or internal motherboard mounting should look elsewhere.

USB 3.2 Gen2 10Gbps interface

The external connection tops out at 10Gbps, letting an NVMe SSD deliver 1000-1200MB/s sequential throughput. SATA SSDs in the same enclosure cannot exceed 6Gbps. Match the host port to USB 3.2 Gen2 or USB 3.1 Gen1 to reach the rated speeds.
