SATA M.2 enclosure with 10 Gbps cable

This aluminum case turns a 2280 SATA SSD into a portable USB Type-C drive. It accepts B-key and B+M-key modules up to the 2280 form factor. The 10 Gbps cable provides both USB-C and USB-A connectors for broad host compatibility. NVMe drives are not supported.

480 MB/s SATA ceiling

The SATA 6 Gbps interface caps sustained transfers at about 480 MB/s regardless of the USB 3.2 Gen 2 link speed. Everyday file copies and backups run at full SATA rate. Workloads that demand NVMe bandwidth will hit this ceiling and cannot be accelerated by the enclosure.

Fanless aluminum cooling

The all-aluminum body and integrated cooling vest spread heat across the entire shell without a fan. In typical use the drive stays within normal operating temperatures silently. No external power adapter is required; the enclosure draws all power from the host USB port.
