This aluminum enclosure converts a single M.2 NVMe SSD into an external drive with a USB-C 10Gbps interface. It supports M-key and B+M-key NVMe modules in the 2280 form factor. The theoretical read and write speed reaches 1000 MB/s, making it suitable for fast data transfer and portable storage workflows.

Tool-free installation with a dual-headed cable

The enclosure uses a slide-open aluminum shell that requires no screws for the drive, while the included 2-in-1 cable provides both USB-C to A and USB-C to C connectors at 10Gbps each. UASP and TRIM are supported for sustained performance. The only common issue is inserting a SATA M.2 drive, which the enclosure does not recognise because it lacks SATA protocol support.

Handles 2280 NVMe drives with active cooling

The all-aluminium body and CNC-cut fins act as a cooling vest that wraps the SSD on all sides, keeping temperatures in check during sustained 1000 MB/s transfers. It accommodates one 2280 NVMe module and cannot accept shorter 2230 or 2242 sizes. SATA M.2, PCIe AHCI and non-NVMe PCIe devices are not supported, so buyers needing those interfaces must choose a different enclosure.
